Matt Reeves es el encargado de la dirección de la secuela del filme de 2011 protagonizado por James Franco.

El amanecer del planeta de los simios

El próximo miércoles 18 de diciembre saldrá a la luz el primer tráiler de El amanecer del planeta de los simios, y para hacer la espera más amena 20th Century Fox ha lanzado un breve avance de 12 segundos de lo que se podrá ver en el vídeo. Matt Reeves se ha encargado del guión de la secuela de El origen del planeta de los simios, en la que al igual que en la primera película, Andy Serkins interpreta a César, el líder de los simios que en esta ocasión deberán hacer frente a un grupo de humanos que sobrevivieron al misterioso virus que acabó con la población humana, diez años antes. Ambas especies lucharán por hacerse con el poder de la Tierra.

En esta ocasión, Gary Oldman (Robocop), Jason Clarken (Child 44), Judy Greer y Keri Russell sustituyen como protagonistas a James Franco y Freida Pinto, en la cinta que se estrenará en España el 18 de julio de 2014.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is directed by Matt Reeves (Cloverfield, Let Me In), from a screenplay written by Mark Bomback, Scott Z. Burns, Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver. The cast includes: Andy Serkis (The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey), Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty, Public Enemies, The Great Gatsby), Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight Rises, The Harry Potter film series), Keri Russell (The Americans, Mission Impossible III), Toby Kebbell (The Prince of Persia, Wrath of the Titans, Rock N Rolla), Kodi Smit-McPhee (Let Me In, ParaNorman), Enrique Murciano (Traffic, Black Hawk Down), Kirk Acevedo (The Thin Red Line) and Judy Greer (The Descendants, Three Kings, 13 Going on 30). The film hits theaters July 11, 2014
