Las series norteamericanas tienen una cita el próximo 19 de junio en la nueva edición de los Critics Choice Awards. Los críticos ya han elegido sus mejores producciones de ficción y anunciando el listado completo de los nominados. Una vez más, no hay grandes sorpresas. The Big Bang Theory vuelve a ser una de las favoritas junto a otra serie de gran trayectoria en CBS, The Good Wife.
Las series más benjaminas también han conseguido llamar la atención de los críticos, como Master of Sex de Showtime y Fargo de FX. Orange is The New Black es otra de las que se estrenan en estos galardones y competirá frontalmente con The big Bang Theory por el galardón a Mejor Comedia. Además, la sitcom de CBS ha conseguido el reconocimiento de cuatro de sus estrellas de reparto: Jim Parsons , Kaley Cuoco, Mayim Bialik y el actor de Star Wars James Earl Jones.
Sin lugar a dudas, la categoría a Mejor Drama es la que goza de gran parte del protagonismo con una verdadera lucha de titanes. Juego de tronos, Breaking Bad y The Good Wife se verán las caras con series más novatas pero que vienen pisando fuerte: The Americans, Masters of Sex y la gran revelación de la temporada, True Detective.
Por su parte, Ryan Murphy también ha logrado tener presencia en estos premios gracias a la TV Movie The Normal Heart, que se estrenó correctamente el pasado 25 de mayo en HBO, y American Horror Story: Coven. La tercera temporada de la serie antológica de terror cuenta con tres nominaciones: Mejor Miniserie, Mejor Actriz (Jessica Lange) y Mejor Actriz de reparto (Kathy Bates).
